I was born in the Dominican Republic and moved to the United States when I was five years old. Growing up between two cultures shaped how I see the world. It taught me to adapt, to value family deeply, and to understand that life often asks us to grow in ways we don’t expect.

I married young and stepped into motherhood early in life. Those years became some of my greatest teachers. They showed me the meaning of responsibility, patience, and unconditional love. While I was raising my children, I was also discovering who I was becoming. Life later brought experiences that changed me profoundly. Losing my daughter to congenital heart failure and, years later, the unexpected passing of my father, reshaped how I move through the world. Grief has a way of slowing you down and asking you to see life differently. Over time, those experiences softened me and deepened my compassion for others.

Along the way, I followed my passion for helping people through my work in dentistry. Caring for others has always felt natural to me. It’s a space where science, service, and human connection meet.

My journey has also included entrepreneurship, community-building, and a deep personal search for meaning. Through personal growth work and studying Human Design, I began to understand myself in a new way. It helped me honor my strengths, accept my vulnerabilities, and see the beauty in how differently we are all wired.

Today I find myself in a season of creating. I’m working on a children’s book centered on emotional awareness, resilience, and kindness. It’s a project born from lived experience and from the belief that the next generation deserves language for their feelings and tools to understand themselves. More than anything, I hope the work I share reminds people that life doesn’t unfold in straight lines. We grow through love, loss, reinvention, and courage. Every chapter has something to teach us.

Here you'll find writings, guidance, and upcoming projects — including a children's book centered on emotional awareness and kindness.
